Switching FAQ
Will we lose our existing bookings and member list?
No. The cutover runs both systems side by side for a dual-run week before anything is switched off — nothing gets dropped, and CourtTime is the single source of truth once the dual-run starts.
Do members have to re-learn how to book?
No — the core motion is the same one they already know: see live availability, tap an open slot, done. Everything else is additive.
What if a booking gets made in both places during the switch?
During the dual-run week, new activity syncs on a short hourly cycle and CourtTime is treated as the source of truth if the two ever disagree — so there’s no ambiguity about which booking is real.
Is there downtime during the switch?
No planned downtime. Members keep booking normally through the whole dual-run week; the old system is only turned off at the very end, once everyone has moved over.
