Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
CourtTime is a court booking app built by Daeda Group, LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We tried to keep it short and readable.
What we collect
Account information
When you sign up or sign in, we store your name and email address. If you use email/password login, your password is hashed before storage. If you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers but never see or store your password with them.
Booking and activity data
We store court reservations you create, waitlist entries, check-in records, and cancellations. This is the core of what the app does. Your club administrator can also see this data for their facility.
Location
If you use the gate unlock or check-in features, the app asks for your location to verify you are at the club. We use this location only for that one-time check. We do not track your location in the background or store a history of where you have been.
Biometrics (Face ID / Touch ID)
If you enable biometric login on your phone, the authentication happens entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. Your biometric data never leaves your phone and is never sent to our servers.
Push notifications
If you allow push notifications, we store a device token so we can send you booking confirmations, cancellation alerts, and waitlist updates. You can turn these off at any time in your phone's settings.
Text messages (SMS)
If you turn on SMS notifications and provide your mobile number, we send you transactional text messages about your own activity — waitlist availability alerts, booking confirmations, and reservation changes or cancellations. SMS is off by default; you opt in within the app and can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or by turning SMS off in your notification settings. Reply HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your number is used only to deliver the CourtTime notifications you requested, via our messaging provider (Twilio). Message frequency varies based on your booking activity (typically 0–5 messages per week). Message and data rates may apply.
Support chat
Messages you send through the in-app support chat are processed by an AI assistant to help answer your questions. If you escalate to a human, the conversation is emailed to our support team. We do not use your chat messages to train AI models.
Payment information
If your club uses CourtTime for billing, payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
Services we use
We use a small number of third-party services to run CourtTime. Each handles a specific job:
- Supabase for database hosting
- Vercel for web hosting and server functions
- Stripe for payment processing
- Firebase for mobile authentication on iOS
- Resend for sending transactional emails (booking confirmations, etc.)
- Twilio for SMS notifications
- Pusher for real-time updates in the app
- Anthropic for the AI support chat assistant
We do not sell your data to any of these services or to anyone else.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services that follow you across other websites.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase with encryption at rest. All connections between your browser or phone and our servers use HTTPS. Access to the database is restricted to the application itself.
Who can see your data
Your club's administrators can see booking activity, check-in records, and member profiles for their organization. They cannot see your password or biometric data. Other members at your club can see your name on bookings (so they know who booked a court) but cannot see your email, phone number, or other personal details.
Data retention
We keep your account and booking history for as long as your account is active. If you or your club administrator deactivates your account, we retain basic records (name, email, booking history) for up to 12 months for administrative purposes, then delete them. You can request earlier deletion by emailing us.
Children
CourtTime is not directed at children under 13. Club memberships and accounts are managed by adults. If a family membership includes minors, the adult account holder is responsible for their use of the app.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time. Just email us and we will take care of it within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we will update the date at the top and notify active users by email. We will not retroactively weaken your privacy protections without asking for your consent.
